Job Description

As a Welder, you will operate hand-welding (MIG/Stick) and flame-cutting equipment, read blueprints and assembly instructions to build rail components, and ensure quality checks using measuring devices like tape measures and calipers. You will also handle overhead cranes and pneumatic power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-welding (MIG/Stick) and flame-cutting equipment.

• Use measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks.
• Operate overhead cranes and pneumatic power tools.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in fabrication and production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior welding or grinding experience preferred.
• Skill Level I positions available for candidates with less than one year of experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is physically demanding and can be dirty or sooty. There may be mandatory overtime, and communication with management can be challenging.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor Mill, KY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Taylor Mill,KY.
