Job Title: Mechanical Assembler – Semiconductor Fluid Delivery Cabinets Job Description

In this role, you build and assemble high-quality cabinets and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery and process systems for the semiconductor industry. You use hand and power tools, follow detailed assembly drawings and work instructions, and ensure that all products meet strict engineering and customer requirements. This position offers the chance to develop mechanical and technical skills in a modern, clean manufacturing environment within a growing high-tech industry.

• Assemble cabinets, frames, panels, and mechanical subassemblies used in fluid delivery processing systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed work instructions to perform accurate mechanical assembly.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools such as drills, drivers, tape measures, and other measuring devices to build assemblies to specification.
• Install hardware, brackets, fittings, tubing, and other mechanical components according to engineering and customer specifications.
• Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled components and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet engineering standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and assembly records throughout the build process.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
• Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to meeting production schedules and throughput goals.
• Work at an assembly workbench building out fluid delivery cabinets for semiconductor processing tools.

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production experience.
• Proven experience working with hand tools and power tools, including drills, drivers, and measuring devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort performing detailed mechanical assembly tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
• Experience performing precise mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to wear and use steel-toe footwear as required on the production floor.

• Electrical assembly experience, including wiring, cable routing, and interpretation of electrical schematics, is a plus.
• Experience in semiconductor or other high-tech manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and willingness to contribute ideas to enhance processes.

You work in a clean, modern manufacturing environment focused on advanced semiconductor processing equipment. Assembly takes place primarily at workbenches using hand and power tools, measuring devices, and standard mechanical hardware. Initial start time is 7:30 a.m. on the first day, then transitions to a set shift schedule: a day shift operating Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a swing shift operating Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with overtime on Friday and a 10% shift differential for swing shift. The role involves standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, while working in a clean, organized, and safety-conscious production area where steel-toe footwear is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.10/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Tualatin,OR.
