Location: San Diego, CA. This is a fully on-site opportunity in downtown San Diego for an attorney who enjoys working closely with their legal team and clients.
Note: Candidates must be actively licensed with the California Bar and have 2+ years of directly relevant civil litigation experience.

Job Description
- Manage civil litigation matters through multiple stages of the case lifecycle
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Conduct and defend depositions and participate in witness preparation
- Perform legal research and develop case strategies with senior attorneys
- Handle court appearances, hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings
- Review and analyze evidence, discovery materials, and case documents
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy
- Work with experts, opposing counsel, paralegals, and other litigation professionals
- Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
- Maintain deadlines and proactively move assigned matters toward resolution
Qualifications
- Active California Bar membership required
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Experience with depositions and court appearances strongly preferred
- Knowledge of California civil procedure and court rules
- Strong organizational and case-management skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
