Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Brandon, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room Open Heart nurse position available in Brandon, Florida. This role involves supporting surgical procedures in a busy healthcare facility with a focus on open heart cases. The position requires adherence to facility policies and will involve rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Job Details: Schedule: Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with call weekdays from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Call is approximately every other day and every other weekend, in rotation with hospital staff. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelors degree in Nursing or higher, at least 1 year of nursing experience, Florida licensure, and the ability to work the specified schedule. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in open heart surgery, certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR), and trauma or critical care experience are preferred. Additional Information: The selected candidate will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy, working every other weekend and holiday in rotation with hospital staff.
