Our organization is in search of a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to become a part of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at our children's hospital located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This position presents a remarkable chance to engage in academic pediatric hospital medicine within a collaborative and mission-focused setting, all while enjoying flexible scheduling.

The Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive inpatient care on pediatric units.

• Providing care in well-newborn nurseries and same-day medical units.

• Mentoring and supervising medical students and residents.

• Sharing on-call, weekend, and holiday responsibilities with fellow clinical faculty in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

• Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Staying updated with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

In alignment with the mission of the medical school, candidates will:

• Participate in scholarly and outreach initiatives.

• Engage in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs.

• Contribute to the education of residents and students.

• Collaborate on research projects as appropriate.

• Undertake additional academic responsibilities as assigned by the Chair of Pediatrics and the Division Director of Hospital Medicine, who will act as a mentor.

This position offers significant opportunities for academic advancement within a well-established pediatric division.

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.

• Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

• Eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.

• $120/hour - Weekdays

• $150/hour - Weekends
