Sub Special Education Teacher

Job Summary for Special Education Teacher Position (2026-27 School Year):
- Teach preschool-aged children in Aston and Folcroft areas (west of Philadelphia)
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (35 hours/week)
- Roles available:
- Itinerant: Travel between schools to serve student needs
- Fixed: Assigned to one classroom/school
- Work with students in special education settings (resource, self-contained, 1:1, externalizing behaviors)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents
- Conduct lesson planning and deliver instruction tailored to student needs
- Training and orientation provided
- Compensation: $1,650-$1,750 per week (based on experience)
- W-2 contract; per diem available for eligible travelers

- Requirements:
- PA certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education (no emergency permits accepted)
- Recent experience with preschool special education population preferred
- Reliable transportation required
Note: Stipends and per diem may apply for qualifying candidates. Both local and traveling teachers are encouraged to apply.
