Senior Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and hands‑on Senior Operations Manager to lead and oversee warehouse and logistics operations within our Contract Logistics business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, driving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Optimize workflows, resource allocation, and facility utilization to drive operational efficiency
• Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs (productivity, service level, accuracy, safety, cost)
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / process optimization methodologies
• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse workforce across multiple shifts
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on accountability and engagement
• Support talent development and succession planning initiatives
• Ensure accurate inventory control and minimize shrinkage
• Implement best practices to protect product integrity and ensure quality standards
• Act as a key liaison between operations, transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
• Coordinate with external vendors and logistics partners to ensure seamless execution
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage relationships with third‑party providers and contractors
• Ensure service levels, cost efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to EHS standards
• Conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain
• Proven experience managing teams in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments
• Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory management systems, and operational KPIs
• Experience in contract logistics or manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
