Our mission revolves around integrity, expertise, and delivering measurable value. Position Summary We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Staff Auditor to join our growing CPA firm. The Staff Auditor will assist in planning and performing audit, review, and assurance engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership, build strong client relationships, and gain hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the planning and execution of audit, review, and other assurance engagements Perform testing of internal controls, account balances, and financial transactions Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards Analyze financial statements and identify inconsistencies, risks, or areas requiring further review Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances Communicate with clients to request financial information and clarify accounting matters Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures Stay current on accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards Work collaboratively with supervisors and partners on client engagements Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold professional ethics Support other accounting and assurance‑related projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA license or progress toward CPA certification preferred 0–3 years of public accounting, audit, or related experience preferred Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit procedures Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with audit and accounting software preferred Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Attributes Professional demeanor and strong client service skills Willingness to learn and grow within a public accounting environment Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced setting Strong sense of accountability and initiative Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Continuing professional education support Career growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr H&E Advisors, LLC
