Assistant Regulatory Analyst (Hybrid - Manchester, CT)

Overview The Assistant Regulatory Analyst supports Bob’s compliance with product safety, social responsibility, and sustainability laws and regulations. In this hybrid role you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to administer key Compliance programs, including third‑party product testing, factory social compliance auditing, and due diligence of vendor and factory partners. Responsibilities Analyze Bob’s assortment and its manufacturers to evaluate compliance risks. Provide direction aligned with company policies under supervision. Maintain, validate, organize, and update Compliance Department systems and data sets. Assist with third‑party testing and factory social audit programs. Contribute to continuous surveillance of regulatory environments. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Operations and other teams. Travel domestically as needed to distribution centers for product examinations. Attend approximately two days per week on‑site in the company office. Key Skills for Success Analytical problem‑solving and data management. Knowledge of product safety laws, sustainability, social responsibility, and industry standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Program administration and coordination experience. Self‑directed work style with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. Preferred Competencies & Skills Experience in product compliance, regulatory, scientific, legal, or product development fields. Consumer products industry experience. Experience with PowerBI, SharePoint, supply chain applications or SAP. Field visits: walking, examining products, and manipulating products to view all sides and how they operate.
