Maintenance Supervisor
Legends Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for hands-on operations of all facility equipment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist/organize repairs as needed
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
- Ensure and equipment is functioning and report issues to management
- Install and maintain new equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical issues
Qualifications - Skills and Competencies
- Working knowledge electrical repair
- Working knowledge of plumbing repair
- General handy man expertise
- Knowledge of state nursing home regulations
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to work independently
Requirements
- General, if not better than average knowledge of power equipment, electric and plumbing
- Strong communication skills
- Work well in team environment
- 1-3 years experience as nursing home maintenance supervisor
