Exciting Opportunity for an Orthopedic RN!

Job Description:


- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Unit: ORTHO (3NW) (620)
- Shift: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend: Rotating / 2 major holidays
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, including total knee and hip replacements.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team focusing on patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech system.
- Participate in all pre- and post-operative procedures, ensuring a smooth recovery process for patients.
- Embrace the opportunity to float as needed, enhancing your clinical experience and versatility.

Requirements:


- Active TX RN License (Temp License not accepted)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
- Minimal wound care experience
- Orthopedic experience preferred
- Meditech experience preferred

Dress Code:


- Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors
- Facial Hair: Neat and trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburns
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
