Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Dermatology role based in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. The clinician will conduct comprehensive skin examinations, diagnose and manage common and complex dermatologic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities may include performing minor dermatologic procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and lesion removals, as appropriate to training and licensure. The role involves reviewing patient histories, documenting visits in the medical record, coordinating care with referring clinicians, and providing education on skincare, prevention, and treatment options. The clinician will also support follow-up care, monitor treatment responses, and contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful, and efficient clinic environment. Qualifications Relevant clinical training and licensure in dermatology or a related field (e.g., Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Dermatologist, Dermatology Physician Assistant) Demonstrated experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of medical dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, benign and malignant lesions). Proficiency in common in-office dermatologic procedures within scope of practice (e.g., skin biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion removals) and commitment to safe, evidence-based care. Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care in a clear, respectful, and accessible manner to individuals of diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, manage a part-time patient schedule efficiently, and maintain accurate, timely electronic health records. Prior outpatient dermatology experience of 1 year minimum is required; experience in cosmetic dermatology is a plus but not required. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advances in dermatologic treatments and guidelines.
