Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Medical-Surgical RN RN

Schedule: Weekends: Yes every other as needed

Requirements:

• License: Valid RN license required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year required
• EMR: Epic charting proficiency required
• Key Clinical Skills: Medical-surgical care, isolation precautions/PPE, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, non-invasive airway management, rapid response/code team participation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions, performing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Pre-start modules are required (approximately 16 hours, completed before start).
• Must report prior employment with the organization if applicable.
