Meeting Event Coordinator

Job Title: Meeting & Event Coordinator Duration: 12+ months. Location: Durham, NC This is an on-site role with hands‑on involvement in event setup, execution, and follow‑up. Overview We're looking for a detail‑oriented Meeting & Event Coordinator to plan and execute internal meetings, events, and programs from start to finish. This role partners closely with internal teams and vendors to deliver high‑quality experiences that support business goals and enhance employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, events, and team activities Partner with stakeholders to understand goals and recommend themes, catering, setup, and décor Manage all event logistics including catering, AV, space setup, and coordination with IT/facilities Directly responsible for event setup, teardown, and on‑site execution Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance Track budgets, expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities Order and maintain food, snacks, and event supplies Create event timelines, diagrams, and post‑event follow‑ups Support employee engagement through seasonal events, pop‑ups, and special programs Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or similar role Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Experience managing vendors, budgets, and multiple events simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality, food, and aesthetics Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Comfortable being on‑site, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs What We're Looking For A proactive, detail‑driven team player Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment A passion for creating engaging, high‑quality experiences #J-18808-Ljbffr Amiseq Inc.
