As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable, and agile approach while working with integrity and teamwork to support daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support access control processes for restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, report maintenance or environmental concerns, and provide clear updates during shift handoff and/or when directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
