MANAGEMENT ANALYST Village of Pingree Grove, Illinois Open Until Filled | First Review of Applications Begins August 19th The Village of Pingree Grove is seeking an energetic, analytical, and service-oriented professional to join our team as a Management Analyst. This position is ideal for someone interested in local government management, public administration, and gaining broad, hands‑on experience working directly with Village leadership. The Management Analyst works closely with the Village Manager and Department Directors to improve operations, manage special projects, develop policies, and deliver exceptional public service. Position Overview The Management Analyst provides professional administrative, analytical, and project management support to the Village Manager and Village departments. The position assists with strategic initiatives, operational improvements, budgeting, purchasing, policy development, and administration of several Village programs while working collaboratively across the organization. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating Special Projects, Organizational Initiatives, and Operational Improvements Conducting Research, Policy Analysis, and Preparing Recommendations for Village Leadership Assisting with Budget Development, Financial Projects, and Administrative Planning Managing Village Purchasing Activities Including RFPs, RFQs, and Procurement Processes Administering Village Programs Including Rental Inspections, FOG, and RPZ Backflow Prevention Preparing Reports, Ordinances, Resolutions, Contracts, Agenda Materials, and Other Official Documents Supporting Residential Building Permit Administration and Code Enforcement Activities Providing Excellent Customer Service and Responding to Resident Inquiries Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a Related Field Required Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) or Related Field Preferred; Candidates Currently Enrolled in an MPA Program Are Encouraged to Apply One to Three Years of Municipal Government, Public Administration, or Related Public Sector Experience Preferred Strong Analytical, Communication, Organizational, and Project Management Skills Valid Illinois Driver’s License Required Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 DOQ Benefits include: Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Pension Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays Life Insurance Professional Development and Training Opportunities The Village of Pingree Grove is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Village of Pingree Grove
