Job Details Responsibilities Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team in the Baltimore office Oversee day to day operations including workload planning and staff coordination Mentor and support junior and mid level engineers Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems Serve as Engineer of Record on select projects Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and code compliance Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery Support proposals, scope development, and fee input Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance Promote quality control and consistency across projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain within 6 months 16 or more years of mechanical design and project management experience Strong background in HVAC system design (plumbing and fire protection experience a plus) Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools Strong communication and collaboration skills U.S. Citizenship required Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
