The role is on-site and begins as soon as possible, continuing through late May 2027 as a backfill assignment.

As the current in-person SLP has transitioned, you'll step in to provide crucial support as part of an engaged school community. You'll have the chance to collaborate with fellow professionals and work directly with students who count on your insight and compassion for their communication success. Direct supervision is not available, so an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for this role.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Active SLP licensure in the state of Texas and a current CCC
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, working with high school students preferred
• Confidence managing a caseload of approximately 60 students at multiple campuses
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong organizational and communication skills to consult with staff, families, and administrators

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Conducting timely assessments, diagnostics, and progress monitoring
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop IEPs and functional support plans
• Maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
