NC Programmer

MAX Aerostructures is the high-performance aerospace supplier that will take you Beyond the Horizon!- ### Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: * Three years of hands-on experience using CATIA v. 5 in programming machining equipment in the manufacture of precision machined parts for the aerospace industry * More than three years previous experience programming five-axis CNC machines required plus two years machining experience preferred * CATIA v 5 experience required * Ability to read, analyze and interpret customer blueprints/specifications, purchase orders, tooling concepts, manufacturing processes, technical procedures, operating instructions, etc. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals * Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry * Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form * Extensive experience with computer modeling software * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines- ### Duties/Responsibilities * Writes and/or modifies CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts * Coordinates program start-ups in manufacturing, assists in troubleshooting and provides recommendations for the selection of cutting tools * Monitors performance of program after implementation, makes adjustments as needed * Evaluates requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost and time estimates * Maintains program files * Analyzes, reviews and recommends modifications to existing programs to increase operating efficiency, reduce costs, improve processes and/or adapt to new or changing requirements- ### Education and Experience * High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) * Minimum three years previous work experience as a CNC Programmer is required * CATIA v 5 experience required## Pay and Benefits* Competitive wages* Health, Dental and Vision Insurance with generous employer premium contributions* 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match* Paid time off and paid holidays* Short-term Disability and Long-term Disability* Life insurance* Gym membership discount* Employee assistance program* Christmas club savings account* Referral bonuses #J-18808-Ljbffr
