Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will design intuitive, reliable, scalable, and accessible digital experiences for complex calling and communication systems. The role requires strong systems thinking, interaction design, product judgment, and the ability to translate user needs, product strategy, and technical constraints into clear design solutions. The designer will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, architecture, research, and design teams across Webex desktop, web, mobile, and device surfaces, while exploring AI-assisted and agentic workflows that enhance real-time communication without compromising usability or user trust. The position requires a minimum of 7 years of product design, UX design, or equivalent experience. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end calling experiences across desktop, web, mobile, and device surfaces. Partner with product managers, engineers, architects, researchers, and designers to define user flows, interaction models, and implementation-ready designs. Identify opportunities where user needs, product strategy, and platform capabilities intersect. Use design artifacts, prototypes, and storytelling to align teams around product direction. Explore AI-assisted and agentic workflows that improve real-time communication while maintaining usability and user trust. Create prototypes at appropriate levels of fidelity, from rapid workflow explorations to polished concepts for stakeholder alignment, usability testing, and engineering handoff. Apply design systems to create consistent and scalable experiences while identifying gaps and developing new patterns for calling-specific use cases. Validate design decisions through usability testing, heuristic reviews, customer feedback, and collaboration with UX research. Document interaction behavior, accessibility considerations, edge cases, and design rationale for product teams. Help teams align around shared product direction through strong storytelling, systems thinking, and pragmatic design judgment. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or equivalent experience designing complex digital products. Portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking, interaction design, product judgment, and the ability to simplify complex workflows. Experience designing enterprise SaaS, collaboration tools, communications platforms, admin tooling, or similarly complex product ecosystems. Strong product intuition with the ability to connect user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear design direction. Proactive approach to identifying gaps, framing opportunities, and influencing product decisions before solutions are fully defined. Strong proficiency with Figma, prototyping, design systems, accessibility, and modern product design practices. Practical accessibility knowledge, including familiarity with WCAG and inclusive design principles. Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, technical complexity, and rapidly changing product priorities. Strong collaboration skills with product management, engineering, UX research, and design partners. Experience using AI tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or workflow generation while applying sound judgment regarding human-centered design. Strong experience with Business Process Design, mapping, design systems, and interaction design. Preferred Qualifications Experience with telecommunications, calling, meetings, messaging, contact center, or real-time communication products. Experience designing AI-assisted workflows, automation agents, or intelligent recommendations. Experience designing experiences across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, web, and hardware-integrated products.
