Lead Product Engineer

Job Description

Are you a software engineer who wants more say in what gets built, not just how?

\n

\n

Most engineers spend years owning one slice of a product. At my field-service client, you’ll help shape the whole thing.

\n

\n

They’re building AI for the trades, one of the last big industries still running on phone calls and guesswork. Their agents take the customer’s call, diagnose the problem, and give the technician everything they need before the truck rolls.

\n

\n

You’ll work across AI, full-stack, real-time voice, and field-service infrastructure, building technology that real technicians and dispatchers use every day.

\n

\n

What’s in it for you:

\n

\n
• Build real products: Python, TypeScript, and a modern production stack
\n
• Solve hard problems: multimodal agents, real-time voice, intelligent retrieval, mobile interfaces
\n
• Own what’s next: work directly with the CTPO and founding engineering team, with no product managers in between and no approval chains
\n

\n

\n

175-220k + equity - Hybrid, NYC

\n

\n

Who you are:

\n

\n
• You’ve shipped LLMs or agents to production, not just prototypes
\n
• You take ownership , move quickly, and care about building things well
\n
• You thrive with autonomy and energized by speed , not stressed by it
\n

\n

\n

They're a small team, with a startup pace, and a high bar.

\n

\n

If you’re looking for a role where, a year from now, you can point to something and say, “I built that,” we’d love to talk.
