Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Claudia Salmon-Getz State Farm is hiring a full-time Receptionist in Tempe, AZ to help create a welcoming, organized experience for every customer who calls or visits the office. In this role, you will be an important part of the day-to-day operations of the agency, helping customers with routine requests, supporting the team, and making sure communication and follow-up stay on track. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and ready to build a career in the insurance industry. Candidates who are fluent or proficient in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Welcome customers in person and answer incoming phone calls professionally Manage appointment scheduling, messages, and daily office communications Assist customers with routine questions, payments, billing inquiries, and service requests Direct more complex customer needs to the appropriate team member and ensure timely follow-up Document calls, customer conversations, and account updates accurately in the agency system Support the team with administrative tasks and help keep the office organized and running efficiently Qualifications Previous customer service, administrative, retail, or office experience preferred Fluent or proficient in Spanish and English, preferred Friendly and professional with strong communication skills Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through Positive, team-oriented, and coachable attitude Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses Benefits Competitive compensation SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer match Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Paid training and licensing support Career advancement opportunities Pay range: $18.00-$20.00 per hour This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
