Sodexo's Universities Segment is seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition and wellness support at Alfred University in Alfred, New York ~ 90 miles outside of Buffalo and 70 miles outside of Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student health and wellness while collaborating directly with talented chefs on menu development and nutrition education. What You'll Do

• Provide nutrition support through collaboration with executive leadership, operations, marketing, and university health centers.
• Provide oversight of our special dining programs, including My Zone, Simple Servings, Simply3, Mindful, and Vegan offerings by conducting regular dining services audits and training managers and culinary teams to ensure program excellence.
• Serve as a campus liaison between students and dining services to accommodate students' dietary needs and adapt offerings to reflect emerging trends in nutrition.
• Establish and/or implement standards for client satisfaction and monitor performance against those standards

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian credentialed with CDR and CDN in NY.
• Expert on dietary preferences and allergies and serve to guide nutritional choices accordingly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changing needs of the role.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
