What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care in the operating room, adhering to the Nursing Process
• Assess patients' needs and implement appropriate care plans pre-, intra-, and post-operation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe procedures
• Maintain sterile techniques and proper equipment handling during surgeries
• Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with hospital standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients' families to ensure quality care
• Uphold safety protocols, infection control standards, and compliance with all regulatory requirements

What You Need

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior OR nursing experience preferred, with strong organizational and delegation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good judgment, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
