Security Officer

Supports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations. Compensation: $14.30/hr. FLEX. Responsibilities include maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property, and providing supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a completed high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications, strong vision abilities, ability to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person, valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor, and previous work experience with the public in a service setting.

Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; using hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching; lifting and/or moving objects 25 pounds or more; and frequently engaging in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
