Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Manager role is based in Escondido, CA. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards. This role leads and motivates the sales team to deliver excellent customer service, achieve sales goals, and ensure an engaging in-store experience. The Assistant Manager assists with scheduling, training, and coaching team members, while promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory, supporting loss prevention initiatives, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in retail or customer-facing roles, with strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, team motivation, and conflict resolution. Basic business and operational skills, such as cash handling, inventory awareness, and understanding of sales metrics. Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and customers. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comfort using point-of-sale systems and learning new retail technologies as needed. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Prior supervisory or key-holder experience in retail is a must; high school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in business or related fields is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
