WHO YOU ARE An experienced Commissioning Authority looking for a new challenge in your career. Verdical Group's Commissioning Manager helps lead Commissioning (Cx) projects. Capable of managing all aspects of Cx projects (LEED, CALGreen, Retro Cx) You are committed to making a positive social and environmental impact on the world daily through your work at VG. SITE ACCESS & MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for frequent site visits. Ability to climb ladders, navigate scaffolding, work at heights, and lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on active construction sites. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS The desire and ability to quickly learn and support a wide variety of green building commissioning services Minimum 3 years of building commissioning, MEP system design, or MEP construction management experience Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and capability to independently run all aspects of a project, from kickoff to completion Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, document control, and ability to create polished deliverable reports Strong data/information management skills, including ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, organize and correlate findings, and translate that information into client deliverables Good organizational skills, fastidious attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple deadlines Ability to perform all commissioning tasks, including execution of functional performance tests, commissioning site visits during construction, and all project management tasks without manager review PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED) Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or other commissioning credential Energy audit experience Energy modeling experience EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) OSHA 10-hour certification COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Remote work from your home office with monthly required in-person team meetups; office space available for use as needed. 100% company-paid health insurance 100% company-paid dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan, with ESG and sustainable investment options and 3% match, after 1 year of employment. 100% company-paid term life insurance and AD&D insurance $100/month pre-tax cell phone benefit $50/month Work From Home stipend $750/year continuing education stipend to encourage continuous learning 100% company-paid credential exams + renewal fees Personal Time Off (PTO), with extra vacation days added based on tenure. 9 paid holidays Flexible schedules Annual bonus program Career pathways program with meetings three times per year to discuss career goals.
