Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours per pay period/rotation as posted). Weekend requirement: every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong pediatric presence is required.

Requirements

• Valid state license required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications.
• Pediatric experience highly preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system required.
• Clinical skills: ED triage, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV starts/maintenance, blood product administration, emergency medications, general adult & pediatric emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with procedures such as conscious sedation, trauma/stroke/cath lab activations, and SANE consults.
• Utilize medical equipment including POC ultrasound, EPOC, and teleneurology.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic medical record.
