VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Technician for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire Opportunity
Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm
Pay is $16-$18 per hour
As a Fiberglass Technician you will:
- Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
- Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
- Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
- Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
- Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.
Fiberglass Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Entry to mid-level composite technician with experience using fiberglass or carbon fiber materials.
- Experience with wet layups and freehand composite repairs required.
- Ability to use hand tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts for assembly.
- Aviation experience preferred, but marine, automotive, or manufacturing composite experience acceptable
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to support composite assembly and repair work.
