Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting in various surgical procedures by expertly preparing and organizing the operating room.
• Ensuring the maintenance of sterile fields and strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Skillfully handing over instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants during operations.
• Preparing, managing, and maintaining surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitoring surgical supplies to ensure they are ready for each operation.
• Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and the surgical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Keeping accurate counts of instruments and adhering to meticulous documentation practices.

Education Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Certifications Needed:

• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required.
• BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
