Pack Out/Assembly Associate

1st Shift Opening – 8am – 4pm!Monday – Friday (overtime as needed)Starting rate $14.00 per hourThe Pack Out/Assembly Associate is responsible for assembling, packing, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with company standards. This role requires attention to detail, proper use of hand tools and other industrial equipment, and the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.Summary of DutiesFollow detailed work instructions to assemble and package products accurately.Operate hand tools and other industrial equipment safely and effectively.Box, palletize, and prepare parts/products with required instructions, labels, and decals.Verify counts and maintain accuracy during production cycles.Identify components, parts/products in accordance with work instructions.Identify non-conforming parts/products and notify supervisors as needed.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding production area.Work EnvironmentThis position is performed on the production floor in a manufacturing setting, which may include exposure to:Extreme heat.Moderate to loud noise levels (with proper PPE provided).Industrial equipment such as motors, grinders, compressors, CNC machines, and other production machinery.Physical DemandsStanding and walking for long periods of time.Frequent pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, overhead reaching, and repetitive motions.Occasional climbing, stooping, and crouching.Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 80 lbs.Ability to use small hand and power toolsBenefits (Waiting periods apply)Medical, Dental, VisionCompany provided life insuranceVoluntary Life/AD&D options including dependent plans.401(K) enrollment after 60 days of employment with company matchWeekly pay!Ten paid holidays!RequirementsSix months of experience in assembly, packaging, or a related production environment.Ability to lift & carry up to 80 pounds.Ability to work in production setting that does experience heat and moderate to loud noise levels.Ability to trim parts/products as directed by work instructions using hand tools and/or power tools.Ability to follow work instructions following quality specifications.Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork required.Work Authorization/ Security ClearanceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.Complete online application at westernind.com/careers or visit us at our Employment Center,22167 C Street, Strother Field, Winfield, KSWestern Industries Plastic Products, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Western Industries Plastic Products
