Job Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an approved residency in Anesthesiology
• Board certification or fellowship training required
• Current physician license required
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred
• Ability to manage a broad range of surgical and obstetric cases
• ECFMG and FLEX required, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating anesthesia department activities
• Provide medical management for patients undergoing surgery and other procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patient readiness
• Obtain and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and expectations with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia safely
• Monitor physiological status throughout the perioperative period
• Deliver timely clinical interventions as needed to support patient safety
