Associate - Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity Team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will advise national and multinational clients on cybersecurity incidents, post-incident regulatory investigations, and advisory work, including incident response tabletops, cybersecurity program building, and risk assessments. Responsibilities Guide clients through cybersecurity incident responses and subsequent developments. Advise clients on privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues. Engage in meaningful client interaction and assume substantial responsibility. Requirements Experience with cybersecurity incident response and regulatory inquiries. Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity laws such as CCPA, GDPR, and GLBA. Am Law 100 experience preferred. Admission, or eligibility for admission, in the state of practice. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications None specified. Skills Strong knowledge of data privacy and security laws. Exceptional project management skills.
