US-Database Administrator (IT-IT Infrastructure)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to oversee the installation, maintenance, and security of critical database infrastructure. This position works onsite to ensure high database availability, data integrity, and protection against unauthorized access.

responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and security management of database systems.
• Maintain, query, and troubleshoot custom databases, including MS Access, Quick Base, and Honeywell PHD.
• Ensure databases remain highly available, reliable, and optimized for performance.
• Protect database infrastructure from unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
• Manage and process large datasets using complex SQL queries and database management utilities.
• Collaborate with technical service teams onsite to support infrastructure needs.

qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Database Administration and IT infrastructure support.

Hands-on proficiency with MS Access, Quick Base, and Honeywell PHD systems.

Strong working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and database management utilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.

Prior experience supporting technical services or manufacturing plant environments.
