Food Service Worker/Custodian

To maintain the school kitchen and dining room areas in a physical condition of cleanliness, healthfulness, and safety at all times in preparation for educational and operational use, and to assist with all kitchen duties.

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, or the exhibited desire and ability to perform the required duties; previous experience in custodial work is desired; Fluency in writing, speaking and reading English. Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required. Some positions require a valid State of Arizona Driver's License.

Prepare dining room for breakfast and lunch meal This includes setting up the proper number of tables; arranging trash cans, brooms, and mop station for use during meal periods; and preparing sanitizer buckets for table cleaning. Prepping and serving meals as time allows.

Keep dining room clean throughout lunch period by performing tasks that include wiping down all tables, emptying trash cans, and cleaning trash/debris from Specific dining arrangements may be needed for students with special dietary needs, i.e., peanut allergy, or those attending special education programs.
