As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist with loss prevention efforts. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with customers and team members, and help promote a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe store activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
