Surgical Innovation Manager, Sports

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes seeks a Surgical Innovation Manager to lead commercial strategy and execution for Sports Surgical products across the Boston-to-NYC territory. This role owns new product launches, competitive conversions, and portfolio growth while coordinating cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional commercial strategy for Sports Surgical innovation initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives
• Coordinate launch readiness and execution for new products, including market prioritization, field enablement, and performance tracking
• Lead high-value customer evaluations and competitive conversions through account strategy and disciplined follow-through
• Establish governance, accountability mechanisms, and operating cadences to monitor progress and escalate risks
• Build internal partnerships across R&D, Marketing, Finance, and other functions to accelerate decisions and resolve execution barriers

Requirements

• Demonstrated commercial leadership and strategic planning experience in medical device or healthcare sales
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
• Strong track record managing new product launches and driving competitive market conversions
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills across internal and external partners
• Market intelligence and financial acumen to prioritize opportunities and allocate resources
• Knowledge of orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, or related clinical domains preferred
