The Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. As a Receptionist you will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and maintain patient records. As a Receptionist you will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with different administrative tasks. You will report to a Supervisor, Center Administration.

Role Responsibilities:

The Receptionist welcomes patients and offers administrative support within a physician practice or center.

• Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
• Scheduling Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules.
• Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy. Works in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management systems.
• Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.
• Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.
• Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
• Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in a Customer Service environment
• Excellent customer service and phone skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting
• Value-based care model experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records) such as Athena
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to read, write and speak in both languages fluently
• Experience using Microsoft Teams

Additional Information:

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$38,000 - $45,800 per year
