Pulmonology/Critical Care Chief - Physician


SGMC Health is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida. SGMC Health operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties. Position Summary: SGMC Health is pleased to announce due to demand we have an exceptional opportunity for an energetic and team-oriented Pulmonology/Critical Care Chief. At the present time, we have three Pulmonology/Critical Care Physicians providing best in class quality healthcare to our community.


Position Description:

• Full-time M- F 8am - 5pm

• Shared call

• permanent, hospital employed chief position

• EMR is EPIC

Qualifications:

• American Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care

• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia

• Experience with the EPIC is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians to provide high quality patient care

• Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development and team building

• Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to create a positive and productive environment that promotes collegiality and innovation in all settings

• Comply with all hospital bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies.
