What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average daily census of 16-18 patients
• Conduct newborn nursery examinations and assessments
• Perform pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including subspecialists and intensivists
• Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed PICU staffed by pediatric intensivists
• Participate in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students
• Engage in academic activities through affiliation with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care
• Contribute to a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and parts of California

What You Need:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (required)
• Prior inpatient pediatric experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Valid Nevada medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
