Fundraising Coordinator
Queer Film Collective
The Queer Film Collective (QFC) is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to help grow and strengthen our fundraising efforts as we continue expanding our impact within the LGBTQ+ filmmaking community.
This role will support the development and execution of fundraising initiatives that help sustain QFC’s programs, events, and long-term growth. Working closely with organizational leadership, the Fundraising Coordinator will assist with donor outreach, grant research, fundraising campaigns, sponsorship opportunities, and other development efforts that support our mission.
Key responsibilities include researching potential funding sources, helping prepare grant applications, maintaining donor and partner records, supporting fundraising campaigns, and identifying new opportunities for financial support. This is an ideal role for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited to help build the financial foundation of a growing nonprofit organization.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about community-building, believes in the power of queer storytelling, and is eager to support LGBTQ+ filmmakers. Previous experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, grant writing, partnerships, or related fields is a plus, but we also welcome applicants who are excited to learn and grow in the role.
At this time, all QFC staff positions are volunteer-based. However, one of our organization's primary goals is building the resources necessary to create paid opportunities for our team. The Fundraising Coordinator will play an important role in helping us develop the financial infrastructure needed to support that future growth.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on nonprofit fundraising experience, contribute to a rapidly growing organization, and help create more opportunities for LGBTQ+ filmmakers to connect, collaborate, create, and celebrate.
