You will architect the semantic layer and dbt models that power mission-critical reporting for the world's largest CPA firms. This role combines deep technical modeling with the opportunity to shape AI-native data interfaces in a high-growth environment. Own the entire analytics foundation from the ground up, designing a Kimball-style warehouse that serves both traditional BI and emerging LLM-based analytics. Work at the intersection of AI and professional services, building the "agentic" layer that will reshape how a massive, regulated industry operates. What You Will Do Define the canonical tables, metrics, and semantic layer behind every report to ensure all customer-facing data is reliable and defensible. Migrate production logic into governed dbt models with robust test coverage while hardening pipelines against upstream schema changes. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design and implement a dimensional warehouse capable of feeding next-generation AI-native data interfaces. The ideal candidate Has 5+ years of experience in a modern data stack with expert-level SQL and deep hands‑on proficiency in dbt modeling and testing. Demonstrates mastery of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and writes production-quality Python with fluency in version control and CI/CD workflows.
