Shift Lead

Space Express Car Wash is looking for a Shift Lead to join our team at our Tyrone location. The Shift Lead drives daily operations, manages team members, and ensures every customer receives a high-quality wash. They act as the primary point of contact for staff and customers, handling everything from customer service and membership sales to site maintenance and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience working in a customer facing role. Car wash experience preferred. He/she greets customers and should present an accessible and approachable tone as well as have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, can anticipate needs, and strives to provide a professional and friendly experience for each customer. Responsibilities: Delegation & Supervision: Assign tasks to a team of 3-4 attendants, ensuring all roles (prep, tunnel, vacuum, and pay station) are properly covered Coaching: Coach staff on safety protocols, and motivate the team to maintain high energy and productivity Opening & Closing: Perform opening/closing procedures and secure the facility as a key holder Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for customer inquiries or complaints, resolving issues quickly to maintain high satisfaction Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Car wash experience preferred Superb communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, standing for long periods Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Leadership experience preferred About Space Express Car Wash: Space Express is an express car wash dedicated to delivering a faster clean and an out of this world experience at a friendly, professional facility.
