Contract | 6-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Projected Start: October 19, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit within a Level 3 OB setting
• Deliver nursery and postpartum nursing care as part of an integrated OB floor
• Float to Nursery and Post-Partum units as needed based on census
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation
• Apply intermediate fetal monitoring or above skills in the care of laboring patients
• Follow patient ratios per A1 Guidelines and adhere to unit protocols for a low-volume OB environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–18 months of Labor & Delivery or OB nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification or above required
• STABLE certification required for nursery assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both Labor & Delivery and Nursery care settings
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR
• Comfort working in a low-volume OB unit with fewer than 15 deliveries per month
• Ability to adapt across OB sub-units including L&D, Nursery, and Postpartum
