A Columbia boutique Plaintiff's law firm is seeking a qualified workers' compensation paralegal to support a high profile partner in their busy practice!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Well versed in all aspects of Worker's Compensation and litigation
- 2+ years of claimant's SC workers' compensation case management experience
- Personal injury law is a plus but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with case management software a PLUS
- Professional demeanor and appearance required
- Daily contact with clients
- Handle case load of 60+ cases
- Draft legal correspondence
- Collect medical records & bills
- Set up IME's
- Draft Briefs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent computer skills
- 2+ years of SC workers' compensation case management experience
- Able to handle disruptions in your day and re-focus
- Able to meet deadlines
- Work closely as a team with peer paralegals
- Case management software required
- A mentally mature paralegal who also works independently without spreading your drama
