Registered Nurse

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The position requires night shifts of 12 hours, three times a week. Nurses will work in a critical care environment with a daily census of 8 patients. Experience in a medical-surgical environment is preferred. Familiarity with the charting system Meditech is preferred. The role involves managing critically ill patients, including those requiring advanced interventions. Responsibilities include arterial line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management. Must be experienced in monitoring patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Additional duties include assisting with chest tube insertion/removal and managing high-output drains. Candidates should be comfortable with emergency protocols and management of acute conditions. Experience with trauma cases and critical care settings is preferred.
