ABOUT US At Cafe Gratitude, we serve innovative plant-based cuisine, thoughtfully crafted with organic, locally sourced ingredients. We hope you’ll join our growing team and help us craft unforgettable experiences for our guests. THE POSITION We are looking for a part‑time Host. Approximately 3 shifts per week, 4‑5 hour shifts. JOB DUTIES Taking reservations and manage the wait list Seating guests in order of arrival, evenly distributing tables to server sections Listening and responding to voicemail messages Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner Answering the phone and taking to‑go orders Memorizing the menu and its ingredients Taking to‑go orders and enter into the POS Organize all to‑go orders for efficient and timely pick up Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions Following all steps of service, including department checklists for opening and closing duties Maintaining cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards; including, but not limited to wiping down menus, setting up tables, rearrange dining area when needed Keeping host station clean and organized AVAILABILITY & EXPERIENCE Weekend availability is a must. Previous experience as a host, barista, or in a front desk role is preferred. COMPENSATION Minimum wage + Tips #J-18808-Ljbffr
