Senior Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who is a strong writer and editor while also enjoying the coordination and execution behind successful marketing initiatives. You’ll create content across print and digital channels, support marketing projects and tradeshows, maintain key marketing resources, and help keep day-to-day Marketing operations organized and moving forward. The Opportunity This is a hands-on marketing role combining content creation, copyediting, campaign support, project coordination, and marketing administration. You’ll develop messaging for everything from websites and brochures to product descriptions, press releases, and company announcements. You’ll also serve as an important second set of eyes for the Marketing team, reviewing content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency. Beyond content, you’ll help keep the department organized and moving—supporting marketing projects and tradeshows, maintaining marketing assets and databases, coordinating administrative approvals, and communicating with team members to keep deadlines on track. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure to corporate marketing rather than being limited to one channel or specialty. What You’ll Do Write compelling and accurate marketing copy across digital and print channels, including website content, brochures, publications, product descriptions, press releases, announcements, and marketing collateral. Copyedit and proofread content produced by yourself and other Marketing team members for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, accuracy, and brand consistency. Partner with designers and Marketing team members to revise and refine content based on feedback. Conduct research and monitor relevant marketing and competitive trends. Support the execution and enhancement of marketing campaigns and departmental projects. Maintain the Marketing department’s databases, photo library, electronic files, and other marketing resources. Provide administrative support including sample-order entry and maintenance of marketing and communications materials. Process and coordinate daily approvals and administrative items through Salesforce CRM, including sample orders, Co-op credits, purchase requisitions, check requests, trip reports, and IRAs. Assist with tradeshows, events, marketing projects, and special initiatives. Provide customer service and Sales team support when needed. Manage competing priorities, communicate project status, and help ensure deadlines and commitments are met. Keep the Marketing team informed of project progress, outstanding items, and next steps. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, plus 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong professional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills. Ability to write clear, engaging, well-organized content with excellent grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Experience developing content for multiple formats and audiences. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects, deadlines, and administrative responsibilities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and other business partners. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Comfortable working across both PC and Mac environments. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with designers, Marketing team members, Sales, and other departments. Nice to Have Corporate marketing or corporate communications experience. Social media and creative content-development experience. Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience supporting tradeshows, events, or integrated marketing campaigns. Experience working in manufacturing, building products, B2B, or another product-driven organization. Why Plastpro?
