This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, challenging, and rewarding environment within the construction industry. Responsibilities Oversee all financial and accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, cost accounting, and revenue recognition. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash. Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance. Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely work‑in‑progress (WIP) reporting. Implement and ensure adherence to internal financial and accounting controls and procedures. Manage and coordinate tax audits and tax returns with external accounting firm. Utilize Foundation Accounting Software and Procore Construction Software for various accounting operations. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in using Foundation Accounting Software and Procore Construction Software. In‑depth knowledge of work‑in‑progress (WIP) reporting, cost accounting, and other relevant construction accounting practices. Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex financial data and create financial reports and projections. Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to manage and mentor a high‑performing accounting team. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines. High level of integrity and dependability with strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
