Production Team Member

Position Purpose The Production Team Member will follow the direction given by the Line Lead and shift Supervisor. This position may rotate down the line throughout their shift. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities Packing and unpacking product Loading and unloading carriers for the HPP machine Stacking and building pallets Labeling and code dating product Sorting product on the line to remove off-spec product to a rework or disposal container Cleaning and Sanitizing parts of the line during certain product changeovers. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment for parts of the work assigned (safety glasses at a minimum,, required at all time on the shop floor). Other Sanitation duties as assigned Other duties as assigned A Production Team Member should expect to be rotated off the line to another line or assignment if a Machine goes down for necessary maintenance or other reason. Our Day Shift runs from 7:00PM to 7:00PM on a 2-2-3 schedule. (2 days on; 2 days off; 3 days on; then 2 days off; 2 days on; 3 days off - repats every two weeks) Requirements Qualifications High school diploma/GED Refrigeration, warehouse, production or manufacturing experience MHE/Forklift experience Ability to perform basic mental math Ability to communicate in English (Speak, read, and write) Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety Ability to work in fast-paced environment Ability to effectively work with others and as part of a team Ability to work in a cold/wet environment Ability to lift 10-35 lbs repetitively and up to 45 lbs occasionally Ability to push/pull up to 250 lbs on rollers occasionally Ability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts. Working Conditions This role operates in a cold/wet refrigerated environment (around 34 degrees F) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for 10-12 hours a day. This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required.
